MOF is an independent professional platform founded by Vladimir Ivanov. We are building a shared professional place for the people, brands, production and businesses behind fashion in Bulgaria.
WHY MOF EXISTS
THE INDUSTRY WORKS, BUT IT IS NOT CONNECTED
Bulgaria has designers, models, photographers, stylists, makeup artists, garment factories, showrooms, buyers, media and educators working at a professional level. What is missing is the shared structure in which these people and organizations can find, recognise and work with each other.
Every project starts from zero — personal contacts, scattered information and a lot of lost time. The result is an industry that looks smaller than it is, because it is never seen as one whole.
MOF exists to describe that network professionally: who does what, at what level, with what experience, and with whom they can work.
THE CONCEPT
PROFESSIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE, NOT A STAGE
In public, fashion is a runway, a campaign and a headline. Behind it sit hundreds of professional decisions: casting, production, pattern making, supply, manufacturing, logistics, retail, communication.
MOF works with exactly that layer. Here the professional profile, the department and the contribution matter — not popularity.
The long-term goal is a professional registry and a structured environment for work between people, brands and organizations. The first step is the Founding 100.

FashionTalks is the media platform that has covered the fashion industry and its professional topics for years. It remains part of the MOF ecosystem as Official Media Partner.
URBN remains Official Events Partner and is responsible for live formats and event experiences.
MOF is not a media outlet and not an events agency. MOF is the independent professional platform founded by Vladimir Ivanov, working with the data, the profiles and the structure of the industry. Editorial coverage is a partner role and is not part of membership or selection.

Tells the stories of the industry: editorial content, interviews, commentary. This is the FashionTalks role as Official Media Partner.
EVENTS
Creates the meetings: shows, presentations, professional formats. This is the URBN role as Official Events Partner.
PROFESSIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Describes the industry itself: departments, professional profiles, structure and rules of work. This is the MOF role.
MOF IS NOT A PUBLIC INSTITUTION
The name “Ministry of Fashion” is a brand, not a state body. MOF is not a ministry, agency, regulator or public institution and performs no state functions.
MOF issues no licences, permits or official state certifications and does not represent the state or any state authority.
Vladimir Ivanov is the founder of the platform. He holds and claims no public office.
